Creating Emotional Balance

Develop a greater sense of calm and equilibrium
“Mindfulness is paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and nonjudgmentally" - Jon Kabat-Zinn

Therapy to help you to feel more emotionally balanced

Do you find yourself struggling with overwhelmingly intense emotions? Are you affected by things that other people seem to be able to just shrug off? Do your relationships become chaotic or destructive? Are you stressed and anxious to the point that you find it difficult to relax or enjoy your life?

If you answer yes to any of the above questions, and if you've you'd like to change, you can. Mindfulness based therapies have a strong evidence base proving their effectiveness in developing emotional balance. At Lucid we specialise in mindfulness, practicing it ourselves, and helping others benefit too. Our mindfulness based approaches include DBT (a structured skills-based therapy), working with mindfulness and meditation as a spiritual path, and mindfulness integrated with psychodynamic psychotherapy.
