You're needed, just as you are, right now!

As our social fabric, our ecosystems, and our climate are all unraveling, we can also see the signs and emergence of a more life-giving and just society. The shape of our future is for us to decide and create, collectively. But, participating in this social and environmental transformation will challenge us to our limits, intellectually, spiritually, culturally, and psychologically. Our events and workshops come out of years of experience and training in both grassroots activism, and personal spiritual and psychological work. They are either entry points, or an opportunity to further deepen into activism that is effective, personally regenerative, sustainable, and intimately interconnected.

How we work

We offer a range of workshops, courses, and events, ranging from public talks to multi day residential retreats. All of these are geared towards connecting our personal development to the urgent, and tangible actions that we need to take for system change for social and environmental justice. 

​Our influences include The Work That Reconnects (based on the teachings of Joanna Macy and deep ecology), Theatre of the Oppressed (Augusto Boal), our training and in group and individual psychotherapy, non-violent communication, engaged mindfulness practices, and the teachings and practices of many decolonial, environmental, and feminist activists and theorists. 

When possible we use a participant-facilitator model​ that helps empower participants to try their hand at, or to continue to develop their own facilitation skills, with rich and supportive feedback processes to maximize learning.

Events and workshops

• Residential multi-day retreats. These are powerful opportunities to build community and solidarity, and to explore yourself in relationship to other people and nature. Dates TBA.
• Public talks on mental health and the climate crisis. Gain understandings that will help you to deal with issues such as climate anxiety or despair. Dates TBA.
• Affinity to Action. A six week experiential course taking a small group through stages of connection, deepening, then taking action together to create systemic change.  Dates TBA
• Train or Participate in The Work That Reconnects. Workshops can between 2 hrs long, or multi-day. Great way to develop your facilitation skills, or just participate. 
  
• Creative Rituals and Gatherings. Opportunities to bring creativity and spirituality into our lives, and to connect with each other. Dates TBA
